Proud Garage Flooring Sponsor of the 2026 Indianapolis Monthly Dream Home

Innovative Garages & More was honored to play a part in bringing the 2026 Indianapolis Monthly Dream Home to life as the Proud Garage Flooring Sponsor.

At approximately 11,000 square feet, this extraordinary home was a showcase of thoughtful design, craftsmanship, and attention to detail—and that same level of quality extended well beyond the primary living spaces. Working alongside builder Scott Bates and the Dream Home design team, Innovative Garages & More created custom flooring and storage solutions designed to complement the style and caliber of the home while delivering the durability these hardworking spaces require.

Four Spaces. One Custom Vision.

The project encompassed four primary areas of the home:

• The main three-car garage
• A secondary two-car garage
• The utility and maintenance room
• The pool room

Each space was individually prepared and finished by the Innovative Garages & More team. The concrete surfaces were professionally diamond ground to create the proper foundation for the coating system, followed by an epoxy base coat, custom designer-selected decorative flake, and two protective polyaspartic coats.

Rather than treating these areas as an afterthought, the colors and flake combinations were carefully selected in collaboration with the home’s design vision, helping the finished floors become an extension of the Dream Home’s overall aesthetic.

Custom Storage Designed for the Space

The main garage also features a premium custom cabinet system, CAD-designed specifically to maximize an otherwise challenging corner of the garage.

Selected for its combination of durability and sophisticated appearance, the cabinetry provides generous deep storage while maintaining a clean, built-in look. The cabinets are designed to float completely above the floor, creating a streamlined appearance while making the floor beneath easier to clean and maintain.

Built for a Dream Home. Designed for Real Life.

For Innovative Garages & More, participating in the 2026 Indianapolis Monthly Dream Home was about more than installing a beautiful floor. It was an opportunity to demonstrate how garages, utility areas, pool rooms, and storage spaces can receive the same level of thoughtful design and craftsmanship as any other room in the home.

From custom floor coatings to CAD-designed cabinetry and storage solutions, Innovative Garages & More creates spaces that are functional, beautiful, and built to perform for years to come.

We are proud to have contributed to this remarkable project and grateful to builder Scott Bates and the entire Dream Home team for the opportunity to showcase what is possible when craftsmanship, design, and functionality come together.
